A NEW BEGINNING : Our first Yoga Teacher Training course in Rishikesh starts!!!
Time has passed so quickly since the last blog update in January 2018. Mainly because we were so much into our Yoga Teacher Training course preparations and had a lot of work to do. Do you know the feeling when you do a lot but it does not really feel like work because you just love what you do? This is exactly what was going on with us recently, a very tight schedules and not much free time but still – the feeling to prepare for something wonderful made it exciting rather than exhausting. This is also one of the reasons why we chose to work with what we love, and to love what we work, rather than to be stuck for a great amount of time with something that doesn’t fulfill us.
Slowly also the weather in Rishikesh shows itself from the sunny side – spring has arrived! Mostly sunshine and around 25 Degrees are bringing great warm energy to the people here.
On 14th February the night before our first day at the Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh started, was a very special holiday for the Hindus in India, the great Shiva festival, Maha Shivratri, was celebrated with nightlong chanting at the temples. At this day Lord Shiva is celebrated everywhere since he should remove negativity of everyone’s life’s and to overcome darkness and ignorance. In the same time it correlates with the end of winter and the beginning of spring.
And now we are super excited for our first Yoga Teachertraining Course in Rishikesh to begin! Everything is prepared and we can’t wait for the students to arrive and settle in the Pyramid café. We feel truly grateful to have arrived in such a lovely place which seems to be so far away from the market and busy life, hard to believe that it is just a 10 minutes walk down to the market street of Laxmanjuhla in Rishikesh.
In our next Update I will show you a few amazing impressions of our OPENING CEREMONY on 15th of February 2018
