Located at the outskirts of Rishikesh, one of the world’s Yoga capitals, around 7 km from Rishikesh center. Our new building is located literally in front of the sacred Ganga river.
It is away from all which brings unnecessary distraction while your YTTC or Retreat – in a very calm and quiet area. Like before, we value a setting close to nature and green environment, which is also a great source of Prana {life force energy} to support us along our journey of Yoga trainings and Retreats.

Our Yoga courses take place in the first floor of the building, where a very spacey Yoga hall is located, as well as an amazing outdoor platform for classes to take place.
The platform has a stunning garden and Ganga view which makes it a truly special place among all schools in Rishikesh!
Morning sunrise and Evening sunset classes will take place on this platform, depending on season. In daytime it offers a great shadow spot for your self study and relax time.
Location & Accomodation at your YTTC / Retreat
Pratham YOGA is located about 7 -10 km away from the heart of Rishikesh. It is a laid back village area, with traditional family homes and also a tribal art village made of natural clay. There are various temples around the center and one of the world's well known Aryurveda Doctors is also located here.
Wildlife around the center
The water of sacred Ganga is not only a magnet for all Hindu pilgrims, but also it is home to a big variety of animals. Every winter thousands of migrating birds from Siberia come to the outskirts of Rishikesh to find their destination to escape the freezing climate of the North of Asia. Their sound is like a background symphony embedded in the peaceful sound of the river Ganga. The birds can be observed very well from the beach in front of our Yoga Center.
Accommodation
- Pratham Yoga Center students stay at the first floor and ground floor of the building.
- The accommodation at Pratham Yoga is meant to give you a comfortable stay but still have a great yogic experience.
- Most students stay in shared bedrooms which provide you with all you need.
- All rooms have nice view, some have balcony.
- All rooms include a private bathroom with hot water shower in an attached bathroom.
- All rooms include a double bed or two single beds with fresh bed sheets and covers according to the seasons.
- All rooms have AC on extra charges.
- Room heaters are available on extra charges.
- Pratham Yoga Center is located in a laid back area, therefore all rooms are very quiet and free from any traffic noise. The Yoga Hall is very spacey and which invites you for daily practice with positive energy.
