EK ONG KAR, SAT GUR PRASAD

The magic mantra is so blessed with power and holiness that it gets this name. It is normally sung backwards ( Ek Ong Kar Sat Gur Prasad, Sat Gur Prasad Ek Ong Kar). HUM DUM HAR HAR: It is a mantra that opens the Heart Chakra and translates to We the universe, God, God.

ONG: This denotes Creator, The primal Vibration out of which all creativity issues.

ONG SO HUNG: This is, creator, I am Thou! It is an empowering and heart opening mantra.

SA TA NA Ma:-

This is the Panj Shabad that represents the five primal sounds of the Universe. S refers to Infinity, T refers to life, N refers to death and M refers to rebirth. The 5th sound is “A”. It is among the most common of all the mantras used in mantras kundalini Yoga.

SAT NAM:-

This is the Bij Mantra or the Seed Mantra and it is the most commonly used mantra in practicing kundalini mantra for peace. Sat is truth, Nam means identity, or call on the truth, the manifestation of the reality of existence. The soul is awakened upon chanting of this mantra.

SAT NARAYAN, WHA HE GURU, HARI NARAYAN SAT NAM:-

Narayan is the personification of the Infinity, which concerns water, and Hari Narayan is the creative sustenance, which renders the person who sings it therapeutic. True Sustainer is Sat Narayan, Indescribable Wisdom is Wahe Guru and True Identity is Sat Nam. Thus is the old Mantra of Chotay Pad.

WAHE GURU: This is the Gurumantra, the mantra of ecstasy. It cannot be translated but when it is chanted, it lifts the spirit.
